The Mathematics Department is offering students enrolled in university calculus courses the chance to receive help and work with classmates in a room that's open five days a week for the afternoon and evening. The lab will be staffed by current mathematics graduate students (including your calculus TA), as well as advanced undergraduate learning assistants.
The PCL Scholars Commons will be hosting a new exhibit entitled Afro-Latinx Resistance and Reclamation: The Arts Across Diaspora on display from April 25 - June 27. This exhibit is curated by master’s student in Women’s and Gender Studies/Information Studies, Gab Alderete-Cruz, and will feature artwork, fiction, scholarly literature, and other artistic works by Afro-Latinx cultural producers. Fantasy fiction as a genre is a sprawling labyrinth under a big tent. With this display, we attempted to sample the fantasy books we've collected at PCL over many decades. We've represented high and low fantasy; middle grade, young adult, and adult titles; and a variety of magical and fantastical creatures in different worlds and settings. Event Details
